Efficiency and performance from DAB Pumps’ Evosta 3

DAB Pumps has a new circulator, the Evosta 3, a high-quality, efficient pump that is straightforward to fit, set up and leave working.

Older fixed-speed circulators can continue operating at a set output regardless of what the system actually requires, says the company. But Evosta 3 uses electronic control and a permanent magnet motor so that it responds more efficiently to system demand, helping avoid unnecessary energy consumption. It can be configured to provide the performance required by different heating installations.

Its clear user interface provides straightforward access to settings and operating information, helping make commissioning quick and intuitive.

This ease of installation is particularly useful on replacement jobs. Heating engineers frequently work in confined spaces and often need to restore heating and hot water as quickly as possible. Evosta 3’s compact design makes it suitable for installations where space is restricted, with simplified electrical connection and set-up.

An automatic degassing function provides another useful feature, removing air from the circulator.
