Worcester relay reaches target a month early
The Worcester Bosch Greenstar 400 Relay has achieved its 4000-mile target with one month still to go.
The Strava Club was introduced on 26 May to celebrate the launch of the new Greenstar 4000 boiler range, and to encourage the industry to get moving and exploring the outdoors as the country comes out of lockdown.
Members of the club have already walked, cycled, swum and even canoed 5,000 miles, and they’re still going. The group now hopes to double its original target before the 31 July deadline.
Each month, a member of Worcester’s Strava Club is selected at random to win a Worcester Bosch t-shirt and thermal bottle. At the end of the campaign, one engineer will be chosen from the top 20 engineer athletes to win a brand-new Greenstar 4000 boiler.
Nicola Fisher, PR manager for Worcester Bosch, says: “It’s been amazing to see everyone’s progress since the club started in May, and to have achieved such a milestone already as a community. We’re looking forward to keeping the momentum going during July and seeing our total distance travelled reach new bounds.”
