Worcester Bosch welcomes Chancellor to its factory
Chancellor Rishi Sunak has visited Worcester Bosch’s factory, meeting employees and apprentices, touring the manufacturer’s facilities and seeing the company’s hydrogen boiler for himself.
Martyn Bridges, director of Technical Communication and Product Management, says: “It was fantastic that Mr Sunak was able to visit our plant, learn more about our hydrogen prototype boiler from our team and meet some of our apprentices.
“We have a strong history in supporting apprentices, both within our own company and those working for our loyal installers. We regularly welcome gas engineer apprentices to our training centre in Worcester to help them grow their knowledge and experience in the heating sector.
“The support the Chancellor has announced for young people is very welcome, as not only will it bring more opportunities for them but it will help our industry to continue making strides in closing the skills gap.”
