Wide shot of tradeswomen attending WIT event, seated at round tables, discussing issues

Women Installers Together gears up for seventh event

Women Installers Together (WIT) is getting ready for its seventh annual event. It will take place on 4 July at London Metropolitan University’s Great Hall, welcoming women from around the country to meet up and discuss the issues that relate to them.

WIT is the only day-long event for tradeswomen and female trainees. It began as a bright idea by Hattie Hasan MBE, founder of Stopcocks Group, to create an opportunity for women plumbers and heating engineers to meet. Some of the women who attend, from all and every skilled trade, have never met another tradeswoman before, showing the need for more events like this.

WIT remains independent of industry bodies and government but is supported by some manufacturers, employers and service providers.

Tickets are free for tradeswomen and female trades trainees and £60 for anyone else who would like to attend.
