Robur gas absorption heat pumps return to the UK
Pure Thermal and Robur are reintroducing the Robur gas absorption heat pump to the UK. The relaunched pumps can be applied in either a transitional capacity, where an upgraded electrical supply is unavailable for an electrically powered heat pump system, or as a means of maximising the future benefits of clean gas providing renewable heating via an air or ground source heat pump configuration.
With ultra-low NOx levels and gas usage savings of circa 50% when compared to a gas boiler, the Robur and Pure Thermal teams will be discussing how the pumps can become a practical heat pump specification choice.
