Heat pump training with Panasonic and Optimum Energy
Gas engineers can upskill and learn more about heat pumps with new training from Panasonic, in association with Optimum Energy.
Panasonic is offering £750-worth of heat pump training for just £45 for gas engineers who sign up to attend online training during October 2021.
The training, part funded by the government, will enable gas engineers to get certified to install heat pumps as part of a two-day course. Dates are available until 31 October.
According to a recent report by the Committee for Climate Change, approximately 19 million households could switch to heat pumps by 2050, with current predictions suggesting around one million heat pumps could be installed by 2030.
The courses cover:
- Introduction to heat pumps: explaining the science behind this renewable technology
- How to conduct heat loss surveys
- How to correctly size an air source heat pump.
Delegates will also receive free access to industry software and calculators, and £100-off the cost of the LCL Heat Pump Part 1 course. Help with MCS accreditation will also be on hand if required.
Gas engineers can register for the training via Panasonic’s PRO Club site at www.panasonicproclub.com/GB_en/training/onsite-training or by emailing uk-aircon@eu.panasonic.com
