Do you know a Trainee of the Year?
The search is on for the Trainee of the Year in the building services engineering sector. The awards are open to anyone who has completed one or more LCL Awards qualifications and potential winners will be nominated by the awarding organisation’s network of 160 centres.
The Trainee of the Year Award celebrates an outstanding individual who has demonstrated exceptional dedication, skill and commitment to their training. The category is open to candidates who have completed any LCL Awards qualification.
LCL Awards is looking for a trainee who has gone above and beyond in their learning journey, whether through overcoming challenges, excelling in practical or academic performance or making a positive impact on their peers and the industry. The award will celebrate a trainee who embodies the highest standards of excellence and determination.
The winner will be chosen by a panel of industry experts, including CEO of the Heat Pump Association Charlotte Lee, HHIC director Stewart Clements, CEO of Stopcocks and advocate for women in the trades Hattie Hassan, and Brett Forster, head of training at NAPIT.
The winner will receive a toolkit related to their chosen trade and promotion through LCL Awards’ marketing channels.
LCL Awards director Mark Krull says: “Following the success of our first ever awards for approved centres last year, we were eager to also recognise and celebrate the talent emerging off the back of LCL Awards qualifications.
“The introduction of the Trainee of the Year Award offers a valuable opportunity to highlight the hard work and interesting stories of trainees, which are the ultimate testament to the high standards of education and support provided by our centres.”
