Could you be a Heating Installer Award winner?

The Heating Installer Awards are now open for entries and there are new categories, providing more chances to win.

The awards recognise the UK’s best installers. Regional winners are announced in April before heading to an exclusive event to celebrate their brilliant achievements. The winner from each region will then go on to do a technical challenge set by the previous national winner, James Bowen, and moderated by CIPHE, in a bid to be crowned the National Heating Installer of 2024.

In addition to the regional, sustainable, and rising star categories, the 2023/24 awards will also recognise the HVAC Installer of the Year. The HVAC award will celebrate F-Gas certified installers who have delivered a system to customers that heats and cools their home and improves air quality and ventilation.

The sustainability category is growing and will award the most sustainable installer in the North, South, and Midlands.

The awards will continue to recognise the industry’s apprentices and those in training with the Rising Star award. This category celebrates the next generation of heating installers and commends them for their hard work and commitment to the trade.

Supported by organisations including CIPHE, Polypipe, Samsung Climate Solutions and Stelrad, the awards are free to enter and provide a unique opportunity for heating installers up and down the country to demonstrate their work, join a close-knit community, and network with businesses and fellow installers.

Finalists will also be in with the chance to win prizes from a bundle worth more than £10,000, which includes products from sponsors and partners as well as money-can’t-buy prizes.

Entries close on 29 February 2024, after which a judging panel made up of industry experts, professional bodies and installers will choose the regional winners (national award and sustainability category), as well as an initial shortlist for the HVAC and Rising Star categories.

The overall winners will then be decided by a combination of judges’ scores, peer-reviewed technical challenges and a public vote, with the five category winners plus the national winner and runner-up announced in June at the NEC.
