CORT chief recognised as top leader

Adrian McConnell took home the Leadership Award at the annual Gas Industry Awards, which took place in London this week.

The awards are organised by EUA and IGEM to recognise and reward the outstanding achievements of individuals and businesses in the gas industry.

Adrian has managed the CO Research Trust since 2013 and has led significant changes in recent years, says CORT, adding that he is continuing to drive forward projects and initiatives that will help increase knowledge and understanding of CO exposure.

Baroness Finlay, chair of the Board at the CO Research Trust, says: “[Adrian’s] contribution to safety over many years has raised awareness of all aspects of the dangers of carbon monoxide. We are all proud to have him as our CEO.”
