Can you help with student scheme research?

Gas Safe Register has been carrying out research for HSE to help determine the feasibility of offering a student/trainee registration scheme in the future. The research has generated some interesting insights and Gas Safe would like to hear from a wide range of industry stakeholders to help validate some of the key findings.

During September, Gas Safe is keen to get feedback from any of the following:
• Gas engineers who are currently undertaking training and have been in the industry for less than three years
• Training providers
• Employers who employ apprentices or newly qualified engineers.

If you’d like to get involved, please email research@gassaferegister.co.uk stating that you are interested in supporting the research into a student scheme. Gas Safe Register will then send you a survey link in September.

The survey will be managed by an independent research partner Kadence, which will validate and review the findings.
