Entries open for Liquid Gas young person in LPG awards 2026

Liquid Gas UK launched its Young Person in LPG Awards 2026, to celebrate talented young professionals across the LPG and renewable liquid gases sector. 

Now in its sixth year, the initiative recognises people aged 35 and under who are making a significant contribution to the industry, whether through technical expertise, customer service, innovation, leadership or supporting the transition to renewable liquid gases. 

Nominations can be submitted by colleagues or by individuals themselves. Entries are now open and will close on 2 October 2026. All submissions will be reviewed by an expert judging panel before the winner and runnerup are announced at Liquid Gas UK’s annual conference on 5 November. 

Last year’s winner, Philippa Lois-Smith, Regional Digital Marketing Manager at AvantiGas, said “It was incredibly rewarding to be recognised for the impact my digital expertise and ideas have had on our business and customer campaigns. I’m passionate about enhancing the digital capabilities of an industry that still has significant opportunities for transformation, and I enjoy finding innovative ways to help move the LPG sector forward.”
