14-year warranty on ATAG boilers

ATAG boilers will now come with a 14-year warranty, as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to produce technologically advanced heating equipment that’s built to last, it says.

Its direct-to-engineer distribution model has seen a surge in online sales during lockdown as gas engineers cut out the risks of visiting a merchant,

ATAG says its scientists in the Netherlands ensure that only high-end filters and water treatment packs are used in the installation of the boiler, which means that the life of the company’s boilers can be greatly extended.

The new 14-year warranty includes both parts and labour when annual servicing is completed by an ATAG service provider (ASP) – a registered Gas Safe engineer who has been trained by ATAG.

To unlock the extended warranty on what the company describes as Europe’s most efficient boilers, ASPs must bolt on additional equipment packages as follows:
• Boiler + Adey Atom filter = 11-year warranty
• Boiler + Adey Atom filter + water treatment pack = 12-year warranty
• Boiler + Adey Atom filter + water treatment pack + One Zone controller = 14-year warranty.

Boilers come with a 10-year warranty as standard.

Sales director David Stolton says: “Our new 14-year warranty means that the homeowners know their boiler is built to last and our ASPs benefit from an even longer relationship with customers, giving them an increased sales platform.

“Our direct supply model also provides valuable reassurance in these uncertain times: the product is shipped direct to the customer’s front door, providing a streamlined solution, and reassuring customers and engineers who have safety concerns about visiting merchants or product contamination.

“And because the customer will never be able to buy the product direct, engineers can put together a quote in which margins are protected.”
