Worshipful Company Autumn Lecture

The CIPHE will host the Worshipful Company Autumn Lecture, titled Water Efficiency into the Future, from 18.00 until 19.15 on Wednesday 28 October 2020.

Following on from CIPHE members contributing to a research exercise on the topic, the webinar on Zoom will ask the questions about whether people should be driven to use less water or waste less water – and what’s the difference between the two? With net-zero carbon targets dominating the news agenda, the treatment, supply and heating of water and its relationship with those targets is still largely sidelined, says CIPHE.

At the lecture, Julie Spinks, managing director of WRAS, and Yvonne Orgill, managing director of the Unified Water Label, will discuss how we have reached where we are today, the activities already under way and how much is still to be done to protect an essential and finite resource.
