Stiebel Eltron adds to heat pump skills training

Stiebel Eltron has unveiled its Heat Pump Pass 2 online training module. It provides essential skills and comprehensive technical knowledge and is designed for heating engineers looking to transition from boiler to heat pump installations. It’s also suitable for trainee heating engineers and existing heat pump engineers looking to expand their knowledge of different technologies and the company’s products.

The updated training module builds on the success of Heat Pump Pass 1, adding further detail, advice and support for installers as they navigate the heat pump market.

Both Heat Pump Pass courses provide an in-depth understanding of heat pump technology and key installation practices, making it easier for installers to integrate renewable heating solutions into their work.

The first course consists of five hours of on-demand video training delivered in 26 segments, providing an essential overview of how heat pumps work, covering technical concepts and initial installation considerations.

The new add-on module, Heat Pump Pass 2, provides two additional hours of training over 11 segments, focusing on critical aspects such as heat-loss calculations, choosing appropriate products, and accurately sizing systems.
