Steve Willis celebrates 120 qualified apprentices

Steve Willis Training Centres recently celebrated its apprentice graduation in Burgess Hill and Portchester. The company recognised 61 apprentices who completed their Level 3 Installation & Maintenance Electrician Apprenticeship Standard, and a further 62 who achieved their Level 3 Gas Engineering Operative Apprenticeship Standard. 

Both events brought together apprentices, employers and families to mark the end of training and also raised £3,000 for local youth charities in the process. 

Awards were presented to apprentices who demonstrated outstanding performance throughout their training. The Burgess Hill awards were sponsored by Phase Electrical, Kane and Burgess Hill District Lions, while the Portchester awards were sponsored by Megger, Fusebox and Kane.  

Steve Willis Training says the graduations underline a strong pipeline of newly qualified gas engineers ready to move into installation, maintenance and service roles.
