Quality Plumber Week 2021 to celebrate those who kept the country going

The Association of Plumbing and Heating (APHC) wants you to get involved with Quality Plumber Week 2021 on 11-17 October to celebrate the essential and highly skilled work that plumbers carry out every day. This year, the week also aims to champion those who have provided crucial help throughout the pandemic.

The week, which is organised by APHC every year, aims to raise awareness of the skills in the plumbing and heating industry while shining a spotlight on the many plumbing businesses that play a vital part in our communities from unblocking sinks to making that sure drinking water is safe.

APHC wants to celebrate the UK’s plumbers as the backbone of the country’s workforce, which is why it’s encouraging people share their positive stories. Whether they’re big or small, tradespeople can send their stories in for the chance to be published on the dedicated page. They’ll also be in with a chance to win prizes donated from a variety of top manufacturers.

Quality plumbers can also post pictures of themselves working on quality installations throughout the week using #QPW21 to be in for a chance of winning. There will be a range of activities, including a technical webinar, live Twitter Q&A, and a roundtable conversation all based around this year’s theme.

APHC CEO John Thompson says: “Rather than focus on the negative aspects of Covid, let’s champion the plumbers that are committed to delivering high standards of workmanship and unrivalled levels of customer service despite the circumstances.”
