New boiler for Sikh Temple, thanks to Worcester Bosch and local installers
The Sri Guru Nanak Sikh Temple in Leeds has had a free new boiler fitted, thanks to Worcester Bosch and accredited installer Thethi Builders.
The Temple is the latest recipient of one of 15 boilers the company is giving away as part of its celebrations of 15 years receiving the Which? Best Buy endorsement. The scheme encourages local installers to nominate a non-profit facility in their community and/or a knowingly deserving individual to receive the prize.
The Temple provides a centre for local community activity, as well as a place for prayer.
Worcester Bosch CEO Carl Arntzen says: “We are delighted to provide the Sri Guru Nanak Sikh Temple with a brand new boiler and support their work in the local community. They are a great example of the deserving community groups and individuals we’re aiming to help with the Which? 15 years scheme. With the ongoing rise of energy bills, it is a tough time for many, so we’re happy to give back and work with our installers within their communities.”
Majinder Singh Thethi, owner of Thethi Builders, which fitted the Greenstar 8000+ boiler free, said: “It was an honour to nominate and work on the installation of the new boiler for an amazing establishment that plays such a vital part in our community.
“The previous heating system in place was unreliable and not fit for purpose, so this will be a game changer for the winter months, keeping everyone warm and comfortable.
“I’ve been coming here with my Dad and Grandad since it was first built, so giving back and working closely with Surinder Singh Thethi, chairman of trustees, and the general secretary, Gurpreet Singh Sahni, has been so special for me. I will always try my hardest to work with the community and offer my services where I can.”
This month [April] is your last chance to nominate a deserving cause.
