Homeowners invited to visit Grant heat pump workshop

Grant UK is opening its purpose-built heat pump training facility at the Grant UK Training Academy in Swindon, Wiltshire, to homeowners as part of its new workshops run in partnership with Nesta. 

First launched in 2022, Nesta’s Visit a Heat Pump initiative lets homeowners see working air source heat pumps and speak to those already living with one. At the Swindon sessions, attendees will see a range of Aerona 290 and Aerona³ models, from single fan to larger double fan units, alongside a demonstration of a working Grant heat pump system. Grant UK’s Renewables Experts will be on hand to discuss common heat pump myths and key installation considerations, with take-home information provided. 

Sessions run for approximately one hour and are free to attend, with events scheduled for October and December, and further dates planned for early 2027.  

Phil Stanley, Grant UK’s Training Manager, said: “Giving homeowners the opportunity to see working heat pump systems in action is an excellent way to educate consumers and help them make an informed decision about whether this type of low-carbon heating system is right for them.”
