Heat Geek and Vaillant team up to drive heat pump uptake
Vaillant and Heat Geek have created a strategic partnership that aims to set the benchmark for heating system design and installation quality.
Heat Geek is a community of independent heating engineers working in renewable technology. Its training courses help gas engineers transition to work with heat pumps, as well as tools and technologies to enable them to grow their business.
Heat Geek has worked with Vaillant for many years and its platform works with the manufacturer’s technologies to monitor installed heat pumps. Using this data, Heat Geek says installations run at an average SCOP of 440 per cent, far exceeding the national average and BUS minimum of 280 per cent.
The two companies are now deepening their partnership to bring better benefits to more installers:
• Heat Geek installers will get bespoke access to Vaillant heat pumps through the Heat Geek installations platform.
• Working with Vaillant’s product and service teams to feed back front-line experiences from installers in the network.
• Installers will be able to access Vaillant product-specific training and Vaillant trainees will have discounted access to Heat Geek Learn.
• The Vaillant Advance programme of rewards.
Aadil Qureshi, CEO of Heat Geek, says: “We’re delighted to partner with Vaillant due to their industry heritage and product expertise. At Heat Geek, we pride ourselves in putting the best equipment in the hands of top heating engineers to save homeowners money and give heat pumps the backing they deserve.”
Henrik Hansen, Managing Director at Vaillant UK & Ireland, says: “By combining our product and support expertise with Heat Geek’s software and growing installer network, our partnership will focus on delivering high-quality heat pump installations, making the transition to heat pumps smooth and simple.”
