Fight back against tool theft with new campaign

ARMD is encouraging tradespeople to #StickOneUpToToolTheft in a new social media campaign.

The ARMD platform helps the trade combat tool theft using technology and smart insurance. Tradespeople can register for a free ARMD account and start logging their tools. They will then receive an ARMD sticker in the post to display on their van.

Any tradesperson who shares a picture of their displayed sticker on social media, tagging two friends and including the hashtags #StickOneUpToToolTheft, #ProtectYourTools and #getARMD, will receive £20-worth of store credit to spend on tools.

Stephen Holland, co-founder of ARMD, says: “Who doesn’t love a sticker and a money off the latest power tools? But the serious message behind the campaign is to raise awareness around the devastating effect tool theft can have on the livelihoods of trades up and down the country.”

Tradespeople with ARMD insurance who suffer tool theft can make a claim digitally using an App and website for any tool that has been recorded in their inventory.
