Worcester and Adey training

Clean up with water treatment training

Worcester Bosch and Adey have teamed up to offer training on water treatment on 30 January 2020 at the boiler manufacturer’s Training Academy in Worcester.

The course aims to provide gas engineers with information about best practice in protecting and maintaining heating systems. Attendees will get a hands-on training experience, showing live demonstrations on effective flushing techniques. There will be talks on the do’s and don’ts of filtration, chemical treatment, the importance of water testing, and maintaining a magnetic filter.

There will also information on British Standard BS 7593: 2019 – Code of practice for the preparation, commissioning and maintenance of domestic central heating and cooling water systems.

Adey’s senior technical trainer Colin Yearp says: “The heating, gas and plumbing industry requires a commitment to deliver high-quality services. Adey training provides knowledge and hands-on experience that enables you to do just that.”

Attendees must be Gas Safe registered and hold current CCN1 and CENWAT qualifications, or be part of an industry Managed Learning Programme (MLP) or be an industry apprentice.
