Boost your business with an apprentice, urges JTL
JTL is calling on employers to energise their business by taking on an apprentice. The apprenticeship provider’s new campaign highlights updated academic standards that better reflect business and industry’s needs, and government funding rules that mean smaller businesses can take on an apprentice up to the age of 21 fully funded.
Hayley Tabberer, Employer Campaign manager, says: “This is an exciting time for the industry: innovative technologies are transforming our daily lives, increasing the demand for both commercial and domestic installations. The apprenticeship standards focus on a greener future, making it invaluable to bring an apprentice into your business who is trained to these practices from the start, ensuring sustainable growth.”
JTL works with more than 3,800 businesses and trains around 8,000 learners in electrotechnical engineering and plumbing: key skills that are contributing to the UK’s transition to net zero and future workforce.
It provides a dedicated training officer to manage the apprenticeship process from the initial appointment through to completion. All JTL apprentices are supported with learning resources and receive a free toolkit for their workplace.
