Chris Efthymiou named London plumber of the year

Gas Safe registered plumber Chris Efthymiou has been crowned London plumber of the year at the Checkatrade awards.

Chris, who runs The Gas Team Plumbing and Heating in Cockfosters, has worked in the industry for 10 years. He was nominated by his customers, competing against more than 2,000 entries.

The Checkatrade Awards honour tradespeople who excel in their fields. Winners are recognised not only for their skills but also their integrity, dependability and customer care.

“The Checkatrade Awards are all about celebrating the pride and effort our members put into their work, and shining a light on their achievements,” said Emma Grant, head of trade engagement at Checkatrade.

Chris will now go forward to the national awards, which take place in November at Wembley Stadium.
