Are you missing important messages from the Register?
Over the past year, Gas Safe Register has rolled out more digital tools and self-service options for gas engineers. That means it’s more important than ever to make sure the Register has your correct email address and phone number.
The Register has introduced the facility to self-book your inspection, a new virtual inspection platform and digital ID cards. It’s using email and text messages more to communicate with you, as well as providing digital tools to help you.
This means you do need to take action when you receive important emails and text messages, particularly about upcoming inspections, and it’s crucial that your details are up to date so you don’t miss these communications.
When you’re invited to book your inspection or attend a Virtual Inspection Event, you must reply promptly. Delays in responding can create unnecessary follow-ups and delays in completing your inspection. If your details are not up to date, you may miss your invitation.
You may be invited to self-book your inspection, and you’ll be able to choose an appointment that suits you up to three months ahead rather than attending a date chosen by Gas Safe Register.
How to update your details
