Heating Installer Awards 2026 highlights industry excellence

The UK’s top heating professionals have been recognised at the Installer Awards 2026, with winners announced at InstallerSHOW last week.

Heating Installer of the Year went to Daniel Davies, of Daniel Davies Plumbing and Heating Engineers in Wales, after impressing judges with his work on a 200-year-old stone farmhouse that had stood abandoned for almost a century. Faced with a completely blank canvas, Daniel designed and installed a high-performance renewable heating system focused on efficiency, reliability and long-term durability. The win marks an impressive milestone for Daniel, who had already retained his Welsh regional title for a third consecutive year.

Daisy Turner of Toucan Heating and Plumbing Ltd (Essex) was named Rising Star of the Year, in recognition of her technical ability and wider contribution to the industry. Alongside delivering a complex heating and plumbing project to support a family adapting their home for critical medical needs, Daisy has also taken on mentoring responsibilities while working closely with manufacturers to improve training facilities for future apprentices.

Other winners of the Heating Installer Awards 2026:

  • Highly Commended – Adam Dare, Eco Renewables Ltd (Berkshire)
  • Best HVAC Installer – James Lacey, JLN Plumbing and Heating (Coventry)
  • Best Renewables Installer – George Tiefenthaler, POP Heating and Renewables (Northampton).

Winners were selected following a comprehensive judging process involving industry experts, manufacturers, professional bodies and previous award winners. Entrants were assessed on the quality of their projects, technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities and customer service credentials, before completing a technical challenge and taking part in a public vote.

Installer Awards founder Laura Mashiter said, “Our winners have demonstrated not only exceptional technical expertise, but also the professionalism, problem-solving skills and customer-first approach that are helping to drive standards across the industry. Competition was incredibly tough, making this year’s achievements even more impressive.”
