Get ready for Gas Safety Week

Gas Safety Week 2026 will be here before you know it. On 14-20 September, the pan-industry event will once again unite supporters in the ongoing mission to keep the nation gas safe.

It’s our industry’s biggest annual campaign, now in its 16th year and this year’s focus will include getting ready for the colder months and not taking risks.

Every year sees thousands of organisations rally behind the week, showing their dedication to gas safety by promoting and sharing their expertise, advice and tips to customers, followers and communities. Taking part is a positive way to build your business’s public image and to help keep your customers safe.

If you’re taking advantage of the quieter summer period to get ready for the winter rush, now’s a good time to get a head start on your planning for Gas Safety Week. You can use the free supporters’ toolkit, which is packed full of useful resources to help you take part quickly and easily, including posters, factsheets and leaflets specially written social media assets. Everything is designed to be easy and the toolkit will be ready for you to download in July.

Last year’s Gas Safety Week showed the real impact of the industry’s united front. With the focus firmly on the dangers of DIY, Gas Safe Register teamed up with TV presenter Nick Knowles to amplify messages across press, radio and social media – reaching millions of consumers. And this year is already shaping up to be even bigger and better.
