£10k up for grabs as Screwfix launches Trade Apprentice 2026
Entries have opened for Screwfix Trade Apprentice 2026, giving trade apprentices across the UK and Ireland the chance to compete for a £10,000 prize bundle and national recognition.
Now in its twelfth year, the competition offers a platform to showcase skills, with the winner receiving tools, training funds, technology, and £2,000 in vouchers for their college.
Dan O’Shea, an apprentice electrician from Longford in Ireland, was crowned Trade Apprentice 2025. At 20 years old, Dan impressed judges with his passion for renewable technologies and his hope to encourage even more young people to enter the industry.
