Last call to claim Andrews’ Greener Cashback
Andrews Water Heaters’ Greener Cashback Scheme ends on 31 March – but you can still claim up to £500 cashback until 30 April 2019.
The Energy-related Products (ErP) Directive, updated in September 2018, mandates that all gas-fired water heaters with an output of 400kW and under must have NOx emissions of less than 56mg/kWh.
Continuing to use an ageing water heater could be a false economy for commercial property owners, says Andrews, and inefficient energy usage and spiralling operating costs could be unsustainable for many businesses. Upgrading an ageing water heater to an ErP-compliant appliance is a simple way to comply with the latest standards on NOx emissions.
Andrews product manager Gemma Kilburn says: “All too often, water heaters are perceived to be an appliance that is out of sight, out of mind. This attitude is costing businesses financially, with high operating costs and inefficient use of energy, while contributing significantly to harmful greenhouse gas emissions.”
