Tickets are now available for the third Women Installers Together conference, on 4 July 2019 at The Building Centre, London.
Hattie Hasan, founder of Stopcocks and figurehead of the conference, says: “We are committed to increasing the profile and number of women in the industry and we are convinced that this will improve the industry culture for all, enhancing its reputation and attractiveness.
“The overarching aim is to shape an industry environment that is attractive, helping to overcome the skills gap by improving the industry for all. This collaborative approach will make the plumbing and gas industries more aspirational by enhancing their reputation.”
Stopcocks Women Plumbers and Polypipe Trade continue as event partners, and Monument Tools is a new headline sponsor. Other supporters are Vaillant, Fernox, Graham Plumbers’ Merchant, Impey, Base PPE, Calor Installer and British Gas.
The conference will have a slightly different format from previous years, and organisers intend this and future conferences to have a direct influence on the industry by working together to spark a process of lasting change.
