Gas operative

Basic salary £35,855 plus £4,000 retainer payment and OOH payment (total circa £41K)
Location: west London (remote based)

We have an opportunity for a qualified gas service engineer to join our team servicing, repairing, maintaining and installing gas appliances in our customers’ homes.

As well as your technical ability, you will provide an excellent service to our customers, have a clear recognition of the importance of health and safety and work effectively with the rest of the team. You will also have the willingness and ability to support apprentices in their development.

The successful candidate will be highly experienced and competent, particularly in boiler repairs, and will have ACS qualifications CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT and CPA1. A more detailed breakdown of the role and the qualifications and experience required is included in the job profile.

The post holder will be expected to be part of the out-of-hours rota as required and will be required to participate in a Saturday working rota, which will equate to approximately one in every twelve Saturdays. A day off in the week will be given in lieu of Saturdays worked.
