Women Installers Conference almost sold out

Tickets are almost sold out for the Women Installers Together Conference, which takes place on 4 July at The Building Centre in London.

With just over 30 seats remaining, organisers are urging women plumbers, gas engineers and trainees to book their free places now if they wish to attend.

The Conference is being organised by national plumbing company Stopcocks Women Plumbers, with the aim of bringing women in the plumbing and gas industry together to celebrate their achievements and to raise the profile of women in the industry.

This year Anna Hemmings MBE will be giving an inspirational speech on her career as an Olympian and six-time world champion kayaker. Returning speakers include Jazz Wilson, who will be offering advice on how to deal with conflict at work, and Hattie Hasan, founder of Stopcocks.

Mica May, Marketing and Development Manager at Stopcocks, says: “We’re overwhelmed at the generosity of the sponsors and those donating raffle prizes this year, which means we can make this another excellent free event. We’re very excited that Anna Hemmings MBE will be speaking. She’s very inspiring as well as practical and her story will strike a chord for many of the installers at the conference.”

Delegates will also be invited to speak in the new ‘Famous for Five Minutes’ section.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided and the day will conclude with a bountiful raffle and the opportunity to network with other plumbers and sponsors.

Event partners include Polypipe Building Products and Stopcocks Women Plumbers, along with headline sponsor Graham The Plumbers’ Merchant. Other sponsors include Kier Gas Training and Kier Group, Redrow Homes, Fernox, Vaillant UK, Impey Showers, Monument Tools, Base PPE and Calor Installer.
