Free flueless gas fire training from ESSE

ESSE is hosting a free flueless gas fire training day in Lancashire next month for Gas Safe engineers.

The course will be held in Barnoldswick on 14 June, and technical manager David Randlesome will be providing information and answering questions. In addition to promoting innovation in design, the ESSE team are keen to talk to those who are comfortable installing flueless products and those who are not.

Sales director Mark Blewitt says: “Flueless gas appliances have been around for the best part of a century. For houses without a flue, they offer a gas heating solution. There is generally a poor awareness of flueless gas appliances. But we’ve been providing them in the UK and around the world since 2005. The technology works well in British living rooms without chimneys.

“These contemporary fires are easy to use, easy to install and service, as there is no flue, and extremely cost effective to run because of their high efficiency.

“All ESSE gas fires are hand-built in the UK and have been specified in living spaces worldwide. All incorporate features, including flame failure and oxygen depletion devices. Their innovative catalytic conversion technology ‘cleans’ the products of combustion.”

This event is expected to be well attended, so attendees are advised to reserve their place as soon as possible. The company will also be holding a manufacturing open week from 26 June, welcoming installers, retailers and homeowners to learn more about the company.

ESSE’s latest flueless gas fire is the Oval, with striking rounded design suitable for contemporary settings. The slimline, wall or floor-mounted fires offer control, especially with the optional remote control, and are very effective heaters,  releasing warmth from top, sides and front.”
